I like making photos. Although my subject choices are random, I enjoy freezing moments in time.

As a photographer, I am spoilt with what nature hands to me on a platter. Most of the time, just being “Johnny on the spot” allows me to make these beautiful images.

I love wandering through the streets of towns and cities, capturing photographs of buildings, architecture, and people. Living in Melbourne—a city renowned for its alleyways and vibrant street art—gives me endless opportunities to explore. I find it especially rewarding to photograph people who seamlessly blend into their surroundings. Venturing out into rural settings is equally enjoyable, as these places also offer wonderful subjects for my photography.

Road trips with my wife are a constant source of inspiration, taking us on a journey through Australia's incredible diversity. I love taking photos of these adventures, capturing the stunning spectrum of colours found in this country. From the clear, vibrant waters of our oceans and the dense, lush beauty of our rainforests, to the epic, fiery landscapes of the outback, I strive to convey the unique essence of each place we discover together.
